However, their holiday quickly turns into another mission when they find out that Bowser once again has taken control of the Mushroom Kingdom. This time, Bowser has sent his Koopalings to steal the Star Keys, which are essential to keeping the warp between the Kola and Mushroom Kingdoms open. It is up to Mario and his friends to recover the Star Keys, reopen the warp, and save their homeland from Bowser's grip.
