Smash Remix Sonic in Mario 64 is a creative fan-made ROM mod that brings Sonic the Hedgehog into the world of Super Smash Bros. 64. This project merges two iconic Nintendo 64 classics into one experience. We recently added this platform fighting game to our website for those who enjoy crossover titles with a retro feel. Expanded Roster: The game includes more than 30 characters. Along with Sonic, you can use Wario, Mewtwo, Marth, Banjo & Kazooie, Dark Samus, and many more—each with their moves and voices.
140+ Stage Variants: You get over 85 base stages, along with alternate versions for many of them. These maps include retro Sonic zones, Mushroom Kingdom, and even tracks based on Mario Kart and Zelda.
New Game Modes: Modes like Smashketball, Tag Team, and King of the Hill are available. Remix 1P Mode and All-Star Mode are unlocked too. You can also try Classic Mode with any remix character.
Upgraded Mechanics: The engine supports dodging in the air, footstool jumps, special zoom effects, and rage mode—things that were never in the original Smash 64.
Custom Music & Items: You’ll hear remixed Sonic tracks and other MIDI-based music during battles. Over 10 new items are included, such as the Spiny Shell and Franklin Badge.
