The Legend of Super Mario โ Save Mushroom Kingdom is a retro-style adventure game built as a ROM hack of the original NES Legend of Zelda. This time, instead of Link rescuing Zelda, you play as Mario, exploring the overworld and dungeons in a completely new way. We added this unique hack to our website for fans of classic games who enjoy clever mashups. If youโve ever imagined what Zelda would look like with Goombas and Koopa Troopas, this one is worth your time.
I played this game last weekend and was surprised by how well the Zelda structure works with Mario characters. It still feels like a Zelda game underneath, but every enemy and dungeon has a Mario touch.
