About the Game
Sonic the Hedgehog Mega Blitz is a fan-made Sonic platform game based on the classic 16-bit engine of Sonic the Hedgehog. You run through familiar zones with redesigned layouts, tougher hazards, and altered color palettes. I tested gameplay footage and compared level structures with the original release. You can clearly see tighter ring placement, sharper enemy positioning, and revised boss arenas. The core physics remain close to the Sega Genesis version, so your momentum and jump timing still rely on classical mechanics.
