Pokémon Emerald Extended Cut

Pokémon Emerald Extended Cut is a Pokémon Emerald ROM hack that expands the original Hoenn adventure into a much larger journey across Hoenn, Johto, Kanto, and the Sevii Islands. Created by Francis III, this project keeps the familiar Emerald storyline while extending the world with new locations, additional Gym battles, expanded exploration, and every Generation III Pokémon obtainable within a single save file.

Emerald Extended Cut focuses on world expansion instead of making every battle harder. The result is a longer adventure that still respects the gameplay many Pokémon fans already enjoy.

🌎 Four Regions in One Adventure

Your journey begins exactly where Pokémon Emerald starts. You leave Littleroot Town, receive your first Pokémon from Professor Birch, battle Team Aqua and Team Magma, collect Gym Badges, and work toward the Pokémon League. The adventure continues far beyond Hoenn. You can also explore:

• Hoenn
• Johto
• Kanto
• Sevii Islands

Each region becomes part of the same save file, so your adventure continues instead of ending after the Hoenn League.

🗺️ Explore a Much Larger World

Emerald Extended Cut greatly expands the game world. According to the project, the current version includes:

• More than 30 new cities
• More than 70 new routes
• More than 45 dungeons
• Expanded regional maps
• Redesigned locations from Johto and Kanto

Many familiar places have updated layouts instead of simply copying their original Game Boy Color versions.

⚡ Catch Every Generation III Pokémon

Completing the Pokédex becomes much easier in this ROM hack. Key features include:

• All 386 Generation III Pokémon are obtainable.
• No trading is required to complete the Pokédex.
