Pokémon Peak Kanto

Pokémon Peak Kanto is a Pokémon GBA game RPG based on Pokémon FireRed, the classic Game Boy Advance title developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. You travel across the well-known Kanto region and visit places such as Pallet Town, Cerulean City, Vermilion City, and Saffron City. Your journey still revolves around earning Gym Badges, facing Team Rocket, and preparing for the Elite Four.

🌄 A Modern Way to Explore Kanto

Your journey takes place in the familiar Kanto region, but many gameplay systems have been updated.

During your adventure, you will:

• Travel across Kanto.
• Challenge the Gym Leaders.
• Battle Team Rocket.
• Face stronger boss battles.
• Meet several additional characters that were not part of the original FireRed story.

The overall storyline remains close to the original Pokémon FireRed while expanding certain events.

🔍 What Stood Out During My Research

The feature that caught my attention most was the game's focus on Kanto-related Pokémon rather than including every Pokémon indiscriminately. Evolutions, pre-evolutions, Regional Forms, Paradox Pokémon, Mega Evolutions, and Gigantamax forms connected to Kanto species are all included. The creator also chose to preserve the original FireRed story instead of replacing it completely, making the updated mechanics the main attraction.
