Released as a completed project, the game takes place in a distant era before the invention of Poké Balls and before Pokémon Trainers became part of everyday life. Rather than following the traditional Gym Badge formula, the adventure focuses on exploration, survival, and uncovering the cause of a mysterious disturbance affecting Pokémon across the world.

🔥 A Story Set Before Modern Pokémon History

Pokemon Fire of Sky takes place in an ancient age where humans and Pokémon interact differently from the world seen in official Pokémon games.

You begin as a young villager living in a secluded mountain community. Peace does not last long. Pokémon throughout the region begin displaying unusual aggression, creating danger for both humans and other Pokémon.

Your goal is to investigate the cause of these events and restore balance before the situation grows worse.

🐾 A Partner Pokémon Travels With You

One of the game's standout features is its Pokémon following system.

Your partner Pokémon remains visible in the overworld and follows you during your journey. This creates a stronger connection between your character and your Pokémon team while exploring the region.

🌎 Exploration Takes Priority

Unlike traditional Pokémon adventures, Pokemon Fire of Sky does not focus on battling Gym Leaders.

In fact, the creator notes that there are no trainer battles in the game. Progress comes primarily through exploration, story events, wild Pokémon encounters, and major battles tied to the narrative.

The game includes a built-in Move Relearner feature.

Instead of visiting a dedicated NPC, you can relearn forgotten moves directly from a Pokémon's summary screen. This quality-of-life improvement makes team management much more convenient.
