You must explore different locations, build your Pokémon team, defeat rival trainers, and uncover the truth behind a wish that could change everything.

After a thousand-year slumber, Jirachi becomes the target of a mysterious faction led by a gold-masked Oni. Your adventure begins with one of three Dragon-type Pokémon:
- Gible: A Ground and Dragon-type Pokémon with an evolution line that leads to Garchomp.
- Frigibax: An Ice and Dragon-type Pokémon that can evolve into Arctibax and Baxcalibur.
- Axew: A Dragon-type Pokémon that evolves into Fraxure and Haxorus.
Your choice also affects the Pokémon used by your rival. Think about your preferred evolution line before you begin your journey.

Your team-building options extend beyond the three starter choices. You can encounter Pokémon from multiple generations and use modern moves, abilities, and the physical and special move split.
