Mega Mario World
About the Game
Our favorite plumber has gotten into a mess! He has been sucked into an entirely new universe, so you have to help him come back to where he belongs, Earth! Welcome to this fun game called Mega Mario World, which comes with plenty of saturated levels. It also features new landscapes that have been parted into eight different worlds. You also have a new task to find a hidden star, which will allow you to take part in extra challenges. There are more additions in this version, including the SML2 Submarine, a custom exgfx, an enhanced status bar, and more! Get into the game right now, good luck to you!ย
๐ A New Journey Beyond Dinosaur Land
This game does not reuse the original Super Mario World stage progression. Instead, you travel through a new set of worlds filled with custom environments, hidden routes, and secret exits.
The overworld map was redesigned from scratch, and many stages contain original layouts that differ from Nintendo's 1990 release. Community reviews often highlight the amount of custom content found throughout the adventure.
๐ What Makes Mega Mario World Different?
After examining gameplay videos, community reviews, and game databases, several features consistently stand out:
- New worlds and levels
- Multiple secret exits
- Custom overworld maps
- New boss encounters
- References to other Mario titles
- Collectible Big Coins
- Switch Palaces
- Yoshi riding mechanics
- Alternative routes across the world map
Many stages reward exploration. Hidden paths often lead to extra exits or secret areas.
๐ฐ Boss Battles Across the Adventure
Mega Mario World includes several custom boss encounters that do not appear in the original Super Mario World.
Examples documented through achievement data and gameplay recordings include:
- Golden Koopa
- Kirby Mario
- Clawgrip
- Boom Boom
- Big Buzzy Beetle
- Big Spiny
- Black Yoshi
Each castle contains its own boss battle before you can continue to the next area.
โญ Exploration Plays a Big Role
One aspect I noticed while reviewing community feedback is the emphasis on secrets.
You can discover:
- Hidden exits
- Big Coins
- Optional routes
- Secret locations
- Bonus areas
Many players praise the amount of exploration available throughout the hack. Secret exits appear much more frequently than in the original Super Mario World.
