Super Mario 64 Land
About the Game
Super Mario 64 Land is a complete Super Mario 64 game for the Nintendo 64, created by Kaze Emanuar. It features an original adventure with 131 Power Stars, 33 main courses, 9 secret stages, and 8 boss battles. The hack follows a world map progression inspired by Super Mario 3D Land while keeping the classic movement system from the original Nintendo 64 game.
๐ Why This game Gets So Much Attention
If you have explored many Super Mario 64 games, you will quickly notice that this one takes a different direction. Instead of large sandbox levels with several objectives, most stages focus on a clear path from start to finish.
The hack keeps the smooth movement from Super Mario 64, but every world presents new ideas and original environments. This balance is one of the main reasons many fans consider it one of Kaze Emanuar's best projects.
๐ฐ An Original Story
This adventure does not reuse the original Super Mario 64 storyline. The story begins on Princess Peach's birthday. Most Toads gather inside Peach's Castle for the celebration. One Toad stays behind to guard the Grand Ztar, but the powerful artifact is stolen. Mario begins a new journey to recover it and restore peace across the kingdom.
๐ฎ What You Will Explore
The adventure includes a large amount of original content. Main highlights:
- 131 collectible Power Stars
- 33 main courses
- 9 secret courses
- 8 themed worlds
- 8 boss battles
- Original level themes
- Hidden collectibles throughout the adventure
Each world follows its own design rather than repeating the same objectives.
๐ New Abilities and Power-Ups
This game includes abilities inspired by later Mario games. You can use:
- Cat Suit
- Tanooki Suit
These power-ups appear alongside Mario's classic moves from Super Mario 64.
Your standard abilities still include:
- Triple Jump
- Long Jump
- Wall Jump
- Ground Pound
- Backflip
This familiar movement system makes exploration comfortable if you already know the Nintendo 64 original.
๐ฏ Level Design
The level structure differs from the original Super Mario 64. Instead of searching a large area for several objectives, you usually travel through focused platforming stages with hidden Stars along the way. You will also discover:
- Secret stages
- Optional collectibles
- Unique world themes
- Original boss encounters
The pacing remains consistent throughout the adventure.
๐ Boss Battles
Every main world concludes with its own boss battle. Unlike the original Nintendo 64 game, these encounters offer greater variety instead of repeating similar battles. Each boss serves as an important milestone before you continue to the next world.
๐ต Music and Presentation
The hack includes custom music selections alongside original environments. Its visual style remains faithful to the Nintendo 64 hardware while presenting entirely new locations, enemies, and world themes created specifically for this project.
