Back to the Future Part II & III is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo Entertainment System based on the second and third Back to the Future films. You travel across different time periods as Marty McFly, search for important objects, solve puzzles, and work to restore the timeline. The game mixes platforming, exploration, and time-travel mechanics into one adventure.

The story follows Marty McFly after Biff Tannen changes history with the sports almanac. Your mission begins in 1985, but the adventure soon takes you to 1955 and 2015. Each time period contains important objects that must return to their proper place before history can be corrected.
