Your main task is to press the correct directional keys as the arrows reach their target positions. Accurate timing helps you earn points and maintain your health. Miss too many notes, and your health can run out before the song ends.

• Easy: A suitable starting point for learning the song.
• Normal: Includes moving arrows and more visual motion.
• Hard: Requires more accurate timing and quicker responses.
• Encore: Uses the Hard-style chart with extra notes.

👁️ Who Is Verity?

Verity is the central character in this horror-themed rhythm experience. It first appears as a friendly yellow smiley face. As the song progresses, its appearance becomes more threatening.

The character comes from a horror web series by ThatMob. Horror Skunx's song “It's Me, It's Verity” tells part of the character's story from Verity's perspective. The contrast between its cheerful appearance and frightening transformation gives the music video its main theme.

⭐ Build Your Combo and Score More Points

Your performance depends on timing, accuracy, and health management. FNF Verity also uses special note sequences and a Fever meter.

Here are some scoring features to learn:

• Combo: Maintain a combo beyond 30 to strengthen the video's colors.
• Gold-ring sequences: Hit the marked notes without missing to fill the Fever meter.
• Fever mode: A full meter activates a ten-second period during a chorus. Notes score double during this time.
• Halo notes: Accurate hits can earn bonus points.
• Full Combo: Complete the song without missing any notes to earn the Full Combo result.

The scoring system rewards consistent accuracy. Focus on the arrow patterns before trying to achieve a perfect run.

🛡️ Special Items That Help You Survive

FNF Verity has three support items that you can unlock through codes on the main menu. Each item has a specific effect and a limited number of uses.

• Smiley Snack: Restores 25% of your health. You can use it three times per song.
• Hold Still: Prevents health loss for eight seconds. You can use it twice per song.
• No Need to Leave: Restores your health to half the bar the first time it reaches zero. You can use it once per song.
