Pokemon Fire Red Reignited

Pokémon Fire Red Reignited is a Pokémon adventure set across Kanto and the Sevii Islands. You can explore familiar locations, collect Gym Badges, build a team from a wider selection of Pokémon, and continue into an expanded postgame. The project keeps the classic Game Boy Advance style while changing many gameplay systems, trainer teams, encounters, and quality-of-life features.

🗺️ Explore Kanto in a Different Way

Kanto remains the main region, but several areas have additional content or changes.

Some documented examples include:

• Mt. Moon has additional content.
• Mt. Moon Square provides another area to explore.
• Rock Tunnel has an additional floor that uses Rock Smash.
• Cinnabar Island has map changes.
• The Sevii Islands have expanded activities.
• Additional encounters appear in different areas.

The changes give you more reasons to explore areas instead of moving through the original route structure only.

⚔️ Battle Changes You Will Notice

Battle balance is one of the major parts of Pokémon Fire Red Reignited.

Pokémon stats, moves, trainer teams, and level progression have received documented adjustments. Several Pokémon also have revised stats so their battle performance differs from their original Game Boy Advance versions.

The project also follows its own type-based battle rules. Dark moves are physical, while Ghost moves are special.

You should keep this rule in mind when selecting moves for your team.

You have three documented difficulty choices:

Normal

• Uses classic Pokémon battle rules.
• Provides the standard difficulty structure.

Hard

• Uses level caps.
• Prevents item use during battles.
• Uses Set battle mode.

Hardcore

• Uses the restrictions from Hard mode.
• Includes permanent-death rules.

The difficulty choice can change how carefully you need to manage your team, levels, items, and battles.

🐾 A Larger Pokémon Selection

The available Pokémon selection goes beyond the original Kanto group.

The documented main Pokédex contains 181 Pokémon. It includes Kanto Pokémon plus selected Johto Pokémon and cross-generation evolutions.

You can also obtain several Pokémon that normally require trading through alternative evolution methods. This makes certain evolutions possible without relying on a traditional trade.

Your main adventure follows the familiar Kanto progression.

You can:

• B: Cancel menus and perform the usual secondary action. In battle, the project also supports B for selecting Run.

• R: Use functions assigned to the Game Boy Advance R button.
• Start: Open or confirm the appropriate game menu.
• Select: Use functions assigned to Select. The project specifically uses Select in the party menu to switch Pokémon.
