About the Game

Welcome Mario in a brand new game on our website, this time in an epic crossover called Somari the Adventurer! Somari sounds familiar right? Well, you are going to play with Mario in Sonic the Hedgehog’s body! He will appear in a different outfit, you have to help him battle robotic animals and save Mobius!

The name comes from both the halves of the characters, Mario and Sonic. In appearance, Somari looks like Mario, he has now been transferred into this new world of robotic animals that have been created by Dr. Robotnik. And since Somari is such a good guy, you have to help him defeat Dr. Robotnik. Good luck and enjoy!

🍄 Meet Somari

Somari is a fan-created character that resembles Mario while using movement inspired by Sonic's platform games.

Throughout the adventure, you control Somari as you:

Run through side-scrolling stages
Jump across platforms
Defeat enemies
Collect rings
Reach the goal at the end of each level

The game uses the Genesis hardware instead of adapting an existing Mario title.

Somari the Adventurer does not recreate the levels from Sonic the Hedgehog or Super Mario Bros.

Instead, it includes original environments designed specifically for this fan project.

As you progress, you will encounter:
