Sonic 2 Mania Edition Neon & Xenon is a fan-made ROM hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 where you speed through updated versions of classic stages, redesigned with neon and xenon visual styles. You take control of Sonic as he dashes through areas like Emerald Hill and Chemical Plant, now enhanced with sharper animations, custom sprite work, and polished movement. The core mechanics remain faithful to the original, but the presentation is refined to offer smoother level transitions and more responsive controls. Each zone offers familiar platforming objectives with a new visual identity and adjusted pacing.
