The game is like the other versions of the series, all you have to do is make sure to collect all the rings you can.

Sonic 3 and OVA Sonic is a fan-made ROM hack based on Sonic 3 & Knuckles for the Sega Genesis. This hack is known for replacing Sonic's standard appearance with a sprite inspired by the version of Sonic seen in the 1996 anime film Sonic the Hedgehog, often referred to by fans as the Sonic OVA. The core adventure remains based on Sonic 3 & Knuckles, while the main visual change focuses on Sonic's character design.
