Super Junkoid DX

Super Junkoid DX is a total conversion ROM hack of Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was created by P. Yoshi and transforms almost every part of Nintendo's original game. You explore a completely different world, control a new protagonist named Junko, collect custom upgrades, and uncover a psychological horror story through exploration instead of lengthy dialogue.

This project does not aim to recreate the original Super Metroid experience. It uses the same engine to tell an original story with its own atmosphere, characters, mechanics, and world design.
