Kirby in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a fan-made game based on Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. The hack replaces Sonic with Kirby, the well-known character from HAL Laboratory and Nintendo, while preserving the original Sonic the Hedgehog 2 gameplay, stages, and story.
This is an unofficial crossover project created by fans and is not an official game from Sega or Nintendo.

Kirby does not use his copy abilities from the Kirby series. The hack keeps Sonic's movement mechanics.
