Paper Mario: Star Nova is a story-driven ROM hack of Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64 created by NicTube. Instead of retelling the original Nintendo 64 adventure, this project tells a completely new story set in the kingdom of Stellaria. You explore original locations, meet new companions, battle new enemies, and uncover the history of an unfamiliar world while enjoying the classic turn-based combat that made Paper Mario a fan favorite.
The amount of original content is impressive, especially since it was developed primarily by a single creator over several years.
