Pokemon Crippling Medical Debt Edition

Pokemon Crippling Medical Debt Edition is a Game Boy Advance (GBA) game based on Pokémon Emerald. It was created by GMars using a heavily modified Pokémon Emerald Expansion engine. Instead of retelling the Hoenn adventure, this hack features a completely original story, a custom region, modern battle mechanics, and a large collection of quality-of-life improvements.

One thing became clear very quickly. This is much more than a comedy-themed game. It delivers a full Pokémon adventure with modern mechanics and plenty of customization.

🩺 An Original Story with a Humorous Premise

Your adventure begins after your character survives a truck accident. Instead of starting a traditional quest to become Champion, you receive a massive medical bill because your character has no insurance. Your goal is to earn enough money during your journey while progressing through Gyms and the Pokémon League. The story is completely original and does not reuse the Hoenn storyline.

🌍 A Brand-New Region to Explore

This hack does not reuse the original Pokémon Emerald world. You will travel across a completely custom region with:

• New towns
• New routes
• Original locations
• Custom progression

⚔️ Modern Pokémon Battle System

Pokemon Crippling Medical Debt Edition uses modern battle mechanics based on Generation IX. Some of the major features include:

• Generation IX battle mechanics
• Updated moves
• Modern abilities
• Current type interactions
• Mega Evolution support

📚 Huge Pokémon Collection

The Pokédex includes Pokémon from multiple generations. According to the developer, you can obtain Pokémon up to Pecharunt. This gives you many different team-building options throughout your adventure.
