Pokemon Emerald Rogue 2.0

Pokémon Emerald Rogue 2.0 is a high-level ROM hack of the classic GBA title Pokémon Emerald, redesigned as a rogue-like adventure with randomized progression, scalable difficulty, and an open-ended gameplay loop. This project is developed by Pokabbie and gained traction across YouTube, Backloggd, and the Pokémon community forums for its bold restructuring of the Pokémon formula.

Each run begins in a central hub area and proceeds through randomly generated routes where players build their team, stock up on items, and battle AI trainers before facing off against gym leaders and the Elite Four. The randomized nature of the runs encourages adaptability, team-building strategy, and long-term planning across multiple playthroughs.

Pokémon Emerald Rogue 2.0 Gameplay Elements:
