About the Game
Pokémon Mirage of Tales is a story-driven GBA ROM hack of Pokémon Emerald that takes you to the region of Avlar. You begin as an orphaned teenager who earns a place at the Trainer Academy in Umber Valley. On graduation day, you choose a career path that shapes your journey across the region. The story is deep, branching, and filled with choices that affect your future. This is another new Pokémon ROM hack which you can play online on our Y9FreeGames website.
I tested the game for several hours, and it impressed me with how different each career is. The alignment system reacts to your decisions, which gave me a reason to replay the story from another angle. The woodland paths and seasonal effects make the world more alive than typical ROM hacks. I enjoyed experimenting with different careers, especially the Ranger role, since it gave unique missions that felt very different from the Trainer path.
