Pokemon Evergreen

Pokémon Evergreen is a Game Boy Advance role-playing game set across the Hoenn region. You follow the familiar Hoenn journey while using several updated gameplay systems.

🎒 Your Adventure Starts With Six Choices

Your starter selection works differently from the standard three-choice setup.

You can choose two Pokémon from these six options:

• Eevee
• Vaporeon
• Jolteon
• Flareon
• Espeon
• Umbreon

This gives you two Pokémon for your starting team.

The three remaining Eeveelutions — Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon — can be obtained later through the game.

⚔️ Battle Mechanics Have More Options

Pokémon Evergreen uses the Physical/Special split.

Move category now depends on the individual move instead of the type-based system used in the original Generation III battle mechanics.

This matters when you build your team. A Pokémon's Attack or Special Attack stat can have a different effect depending on the move you select.

🔄 Evolution Is More Convenient

Several evolution requirements have been changed to reduce unnecessary restrictions.

Friendship evolutions

Friendship requirements are reduced by half.

This applies to Pokémon that use friendship as an evolution condition.

Trade evolutions

Trade-based evolutions use level-based evolution instead.

You can therefore obtain the evolved forms without requiring a trade.

🎁 Special Events and Post-Game Content

Pokémon Evergreen retains Emerald event content and includes additional event-related material.

The current release also includes a post-game Jirachi gift.

Additional event content gives you more collection goals after the main Hoenn journey.

🕹️ Real-Time Clock Options

The current release provides two clock options:

• Authentic RTC
• Simulated RTC

The simulated option helps when your gaming setup does not support a working real-time clock.

This is particularly useful for time-based features that depend on the game's clock.

🐾 Pokémon Available Beyond the Original Hoenn Set

Three later Eeveelutions are specifically included:

• Leafeon
• Glaceon
• Sylveon

They are not part of the original Generation III Pokédex.

The documented game content also confirms that only these three later-generation Pokémon are included outside the Generation III selection.
