Sonic 3 Complete – Emerald Safari is a classic platform game based on Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles. This version changes how Chaos Emeralds work during your adventure. Every emerald gives you a useful upgrade instead of saving rewards only for the final stages. You notice the difference very early in the game. Your movement gets better, special stages become easier, and survival becomes less stressful in later zones.
This Sonic ROM hack keeps the original level design and speed system from the Sega Genesis version. You still travel through Angel Island while fighting Dr. Eggman. The main attraction comes from the new progression style. Your rewards stay active throughout the journey, so collecting emeralds always matters.
