The Simpsons: Hit & Run

The Simpsons: Hit & Run is a 3D action-adventure game where you explore Springfield, drive familiar vehicles, complete missions, and investigate a strange mystery with Homer Simpson and other residents of the town. You can switch between driving and on-foot activities as you progress through seven story levels. The game features Homer, Bart, Lisa, Marge, and Apu as playable characters.

🚗 Drive Through Springfield

Driving is one of the main parts of The Simpsons: Hit & Run. You can travel through residential streets, city areas, and locations near the harbour. Different vehicles have their own handling and performance characteristics.

You can use vehicles such as:

• Canyonero
• Plow King
• The Homer
• Professor Frink's hovercar
• Various cars driven by Springfield residents

🏃 Explore on Foot and Complete Missions

You do not spend the entire adventure inside a car. You can leave your vehicle and explore the surrounding area on foot.

Your character can:

• Walk and run through Springfield.
• Jump and perform a double jump.
• Attack objects and certain obstacles.
• Use jumping attacks and character-specific slam attacks.
• Talk to residents and start missions.
• Collect coins and hidden objects.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Five Characters to Play

The campaign gives you control of five characters from Springfield. Each has their own story missions and character-specific details.

• Homer Simpson: You play as Homer during the opening and final parts of the campaign.
• Bart Simpson: Bart has his own missions and story sections.
• Lisa Simpson: You control Lisa during her dedicated campaign level.
• Marge Simpson: Marge has a separate set of story objectives.
• Apu Nahasapeemapetilon: Apu also has his own campaign level.

The seven-level campaign uses these characters to tell different parts of the same story.

🪙 Collect Coins, Cards, and Hidden Items

Exploration is useful if you want to find more than the main mission objectives. Springfield contains several collectibles and optional activities.

• Coins: Collect coins from certain objects and activities. You can spend them on vehicles and outfits.
• Wasp cameras: Find and destroy mechanical wasps around the environment.
• Trading cards: Search for seven hidden cards in each level. There are 49 cards across the campaign.
• Outfits: Unlock and purchase character outfits as you progress.
• Bonus races: Complete optional activities and unlock additional racing content.
