About the Game
Pokémon Black and White 3: Genesis is a fan-made Pokémon RPG that works as a sequel to Pokémon Black 2 and White 2, built on the classic Pokémon Crystal engine. You step into Unova again, but this time the story unfolds in a world shaped by the events of the earlier games. I tried it myself, and the mix of old-school graphics with modern mechanics feels nostalgic but also rewarding.
This ROM hack changes many aspects of the original experience. It uses Game Boy Color visuals yet integrates features from later Pokémon generations. While playing, I found the pace balanced and the Pokémon selection wide enough to make team building more interesting compared to the official Gen 2 titles.
