About the Game
Pokémon Ruby Version is a role-playing game released for the Game Boy Advance in 2002 in Japan and 2003 in most other regions. Developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, it introduced the Hoenn region and launched the third generation of Pokémon games.
For many fans, Pokémon Ruby marked a major leap from the Game Boy Color era. The game introduced new Pokémon, improved graphics, abilities, double battles, and a completely new region filled with cities, caves, forests, and oceans.
