Sonic: North Island

Sonic: North Island is a Sonic ROM Hack, which you can play online on our website. This project uses the engine of Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) from the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive era. The hack was created by LuigiXHero, a developer known in the Sonic ROM hacking community. You guide Sonic the Hedgehog across a new island environment while fighting robotic enemies connected to Dr. Eggman.

We have added different retro Sonic games to our website. Sonic: North Island stands out because it introduces a new island setting while still using the classic Sonic engine.
