Pokemon Eclipse
About the Game
Set on a journey to become the world’s best Pokemon trainer ever! Your father once held this title, can you do it too? In Pokemon Eclipse, you will join the Ace Trainers and travel through the Soala Region. Your mission is to capture all 721 Pokemons!
During your journey with the Ace Trainers, some Pokémon start to behave weirdly, which is why a gang of thieves took advantage of this situation and caused havoc in town. Can you figure out the reason behind the strange behaviors of the Pokémon? Let’s play the game and find out now!
🌙 A Journey Through the Lunis Region
The adventure takes place in the Lunis Region, a new setting created specifically for this ROM hack.
Your journey begins as a young trainer who sets out to explore the region and uncover the mysteries surrounding recent events. Throughout the story, you encounter new towns, routes, trainers, and organizations that do not appear in the official Pokémon games.
The game focuses on its own storyline rather than reusing the plot of Pokémon Emerald.
🏆 Earn Badges and Build Your Team
Like traditional Pokémon games, your primary goal is to become a stronger trainer while collecting Gym Badges across the region.
During your adventure, you will:
- Catch wild Pokémon
- Train and evolve your team
- Battle Gym Leaders
- Face rival trainers
- Progress through story-driven events
The familiar Pokémon formula remains intact while taking place in an original setting.
🧬 Pokémon From Multiple Generations
One of the most notable features of Pokemon Eclipse is its expanded Pokémon roster.
The game includes Pokémon from several generations beyond those available in the original Pokémon Emerald.
This gives you access to a much wider selection of team-building options compared to the Game Boy Advance release from 2004.
⚔️ Modern Battle Features
Pokemon Eclipse includes several mechanics that were not part of the original Pokémon Emerald.
Confirmed features include:
- Physical/Special Split
- Fairy-type Pokémon
- Updated moves
- Expanded Pokémon availability
These improvements help modernize the battle system while maintaining the classic Game Boy Advance style.
🌎 Explore Original Locations
The Lunis Region contains:
- New cities
- New routes
- Original caves
- Custom landmarks
- Story-specific locations
Because the region was built specifically for the project, exploration plays an important role throughout the adventure.
📖 Story-Focused Progression
One aspect frequently mentioned by players is the emphasis on story.
As you travel through Lunis, you encounter:
- New characters
- Region-specific events
- Story-related mysteries
- Original dialogue
The narrative develops as you move between towns and continue your Gym challenge.
