Sonic the Hackable

Sonic the Hackable is a fan-made Sonic platform game, which you can play online on our website. This ROM hack of the original Sonic the Hedgehog for Genesis is designed in the style of Sonic 4. It keeps the classic 16-bit look but changes the story, levels, and even the moves you can use. The story takes place after the events of Sonic 4: Episode II. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg MK II crashes near South Island, flooding parts of it. Using the wreckage and Chaos Emerald energy, he rebuilds his fortress. Sonic must return to South Island once again to stop Eggman’s plans.
