About the Game
Pokemon Shadow Realm is a fan-made ROM hack based on Pokemon Emerald for the Game Boy Advance. Created by Jinwoo, this project takes you across multiple regions while introducing an original storyline centered around mysterious wormholes, Shadow Pokémon, and a dimension known as the Shadow Realm. Unlike official Pokémon games, this adventure combines locations and characters from different regions into a single connected story.
The project is currently released as a demo, with content extending beyond the second Gym Badge.

📖 A Mystery Across Multiple Regions
The story begins when you wake up outside Pallet Town with no memory of how you arrived there. Strange wormholes have started appearing throughout the world. These distortions connect different timelines and regions, causing unusual events and missing characters.
As the mystery unfolds, you discover that a corrupted dimension called the Shadow Realm is beginning to leak into the normal world. Shadow Pokémon have returned, and someone appears to be responsible for their resurgence. Your journey focuses on uncovering the truth behind these events.

One of the main features is the Shadow Pokémon system.
Fans of games such as Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness may recognize the concept. Shadow Pokémon play an important role in the story and gameplay. The developer has also confirmed additional mechanics related to Shadow Pokémon and their battle system.
