Jurassic PokePark
About the Game
Jurassic PokePark is a comedy video built around a fictional Pokémon park where Professor Oak presents living Pokémon to a group of visitors. The story uses a movie-trailer format and follows a series of chaotic events after the park loses power. The video was released on YouTube on February 7, 2014, as part of Smosh Season 10.
🦖 A Pokémon Park With a Serious Problem
The story begins with Professor Oak welcoming Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler to his island. Oak explains that his team has recovered Pokémon DNA and created living Pokémon.
You get to see several familiar Pokémon during the story. These include Mankey, Snorlax, Beedrill, Magikarp, Pikachu and Charizard. The video also presents a fictional creature called Pikachar, which Oak describes as a combination of Pikachu and Charizard.
🔬 What Happens Inside the Park?
Professor Oak shows the visitors his laboratory and the Pokémon eggs. He also explains how Beedrill DNA was obtained in one of the video's jokes.
The situation changes after the power goes out across the park. The Pokémon then become a serious problem for the people on the island.
You see the characters hide from Pikachar and other situations unfold around the park. The story uses short scenes and comedy rather than conventional game progression.
